- Nobody responded to my little joke that the plural of "pentium"
- should be "paragon" (philistines!). But there was actually a
- shred of a serious question in there. I remember reading on this
- newsgroup that pentium was supposed to be a replacement for
- the '486 and the '860, from which I infer that a future paragon
- could be based on pentium. Clearly Intel will not continue to
- use the '860 as the paragon processor indefinitely; can anybody
- comment on what they are considering for future machines?
