- I have a SCSI 4mm DAT tape drive that is to be shared between several systems
- including VAX, Mac and PC (running Windows). It works fine for the VAX and
- Mac platforms. I have discovered that of all the 'major' PC software
- companies offering backup and utilities (like Norton/Symantic
- Backup/Desktop/Utilities, FastBack Plus, PCTools, CP Backup...), all will
- write to either floppy disk or QIC tape, but nothing for 4mm DAT or even any
- kind of SCSI tape. I found one vendor called Corel that has something of
- interest, but surely they aren't the only vendor in this potentially large
- market?
-
- Does anybody know of other vendors offering backup solutions to 4mm DAT
- drives? I'm most interested in Windows software. DOS is of interest as well.
