- This sounds more like an external MEMORY cache than a disk cache like
- SMARTDRV. There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to use this
- with a disk cache; in fact, you should want to, since it will speed
- your machine up. A few questions. Does this cache work if you DON'T
- have a disk cache installed (do you still crash in Windows)? Sounds
- to me like you have a hardware problem with the external cache memory.

- Oh, and I think I'd look for a new dealer, if this is really what you
- were told. I'd hate to think there's someone out there selling
- hardware who doesn't know the difference between a disk cache and a
- memory cache.
