  59. I don't quite fall into the category because I'm self employed but thought
  60. I'd answer anyway. I am a telecommuter in the fact that I get to work from
  61. home and don't have to report to an office every day. My work is in the
  62. construction field where I figure how much lumber it takes to build a house
  63. from a set of blueprints. I do this for several companies as a transparent
  64. behind the scenes person but am considering an offer by my major client
  65. to work exclusively for them and that is where the second part of your
  66. question comes into play. If I do take them up on this one thing I will
  67. ask of them is to install a terminal here so that I can follow the jobs
  68. and thereby make my estimating a little tighter. The above mentioned
  69. Building Supply has a point of sale system with two yards and could supply
  70. this info quite easily. As an aside I regularly use my Fax/modem to give
  71. the on-the-road salesman an extra copy of my work ( which he has a habit
  72. of misplacing ).
  73. A real life example of telecommuting, but not in the strictest sense.
