  13. Recently reviewed a copy of Stacker 3.0 on a friend's machine...

  15. Let me tell ya, it is much more user-friendly than old Stackers,
  16. and has a Remove-stacked volume option that actually works!

  18. As for re-stacking a drive that was stacked under 2.0....
  19. My friend claims he got a spare 20 megs on his 300 meg hard
  20. drive, when restacking under 3.0. Stacker 3.0 has an option
  21. where you can specify the degree of compression you'd like
  22. in a trade off with speed. Low compression, high speed,
  23. medium compression, medium speed, high compression, low speed.
  24. In truth, we found very few differences between the three 
  25. settings...

  27. Not sure the official release date of this, but look for it
  28. soon, as this copy was stable as a table!
