- Need some assistance...
- I have just purchased an HP Laserjet IIIP for use with my IBM compatible
- (supposedly) PC/AT. The problem is, try as I may, I cannot get a "screen
- print" (by pressing shift-printscreen).
- Actually, I do get a text screen print, but following the print pages
- and pages of "escape" sequences are printed, with no apparent end (I turn
- the printer off to stop it). When I try to print screen with graphics on the
- screen I get a page of excape characters, followed by another set of pages
- and pages of escape characters. I have remembered the GRAPHICS command,
- prior to attempting to print screen.
- Some background info'. My PC is actually an ITT XTRA Professional
- Series (AT compatible), 10 MHz 286 (I think), with 1.4MB memory and a 40 MB
- hard disk. Prior to purchasing the HP laser jet IIIp I had an IBM proprinter
- which did printscreens perfectly well.
- If anyone out there has any ideas, please reply directly to me, as I
- am only an occasional NETNEWS reader. Thanks.
