- After watching the market trend, I have the funniest feeling that
- everything has about hit rock bottom. A lot of people keep saying
- that the introduction of the i586 is going to severely cut the
- prices of both the 386 and 486 machines. Although it might drop
- the prices at first, I don't see why it is going to cut them so
- much. People are in business to make money; if the computer
- markets keep dropping the way they are now, no money is to be
- made. Don't get me wrong, I'm in the purchasing stage myself, and
- the lower they get in price, the better. My biggest fear is that
- if I wait too long, some unseen factor (ie trade embargo, stock
- market fluctuations, aliens landing in Sunnyvale CA., etc)
- will cause prices to go back up.
-
- Anyone got any suggestions on what prices are going to do over the
- next 6 months to a year?
