  18. To answer my own question... Shortly after posting the message above I
  19. received a phone call from a survey firm hired by Central Point. The person
  20. calling wanted to know if I had received the upgrade notice (yes) and had
  21. ordered the upgrade (yes). She also asked if I was satisfied with the
  22. upgrade (sort of). I told her I was very unhappy that Central Point had
  23. removed all the Windows apps from PC Tools 8.0 and did not mention it in
  24. the upgrade offer.

  26. Her final question was: What I buy "Central Point PC Tools for *WINDOWS*".
  27. My answer: "Not after this treatment. I already have Norton Desktop for
  28. Windows 2.0 and am very happy with it."
