  12. I have a 486 EISA computer with an AMI 1991 bios.  One of the options in the 
  13. advanced CMOS setup is external cache on or off.  My dealer tells me this cache 
  14. is similar to the cache programs like smartdrv, ncache, etc. only in BIOS.  If
  15. this cache is on and I also have a DOS cache my computer will invariably crash 
  16. in windows.  Any info on this feature? Is the dealer correct? Thanks for your
