- I have a 486 EISA computer with an AMI 1991 bios. One of the options in the
- advanced CMOS setup is external cache on or off. My dealer tells me this cache
- is similar to the cache programs like smartdrv, ncache, etc. only in BIOS. If
- this cache is on and I also have a DOS cache my computer will invariably crash
- in windows. Any info on this feature? Is the dealer correct? Thanks for your
