- Hello,
-
- I have an IBM PS/2 model 50 with total RAM of 7 mega and connected
- to a LAN network. I use IBM DOS 5.0 now and I want to free-up as much
- conventional memory as I can. But even with the DEVICEHIGH= commands in
- config.sys and LOADHIGH commmands in autoexec.bat, none of the programs
- (e.g. mouse.com) seems to leave the conventional memory. What should I
- do in order to force as many programs to run in high memory as I can?
- Does the loadhigh command work in 286 machines? Please advise!
-
- Alex
