- I don't know about OS/2 2.0. I had a memory problem with a 486 running DOS.
- It also has 8 megs of RAM. When I ran some large software like Windows, it
- gave an error message and halted. I called techinician and did some thing like:
- pull out all 4 simms in bank 1, start the machine as the machine as only 4
- megs of RAM, no problem. Then put (replace) the rest 4 in bank 0 one each time.
- with one simm the system halted. So I identified that bad simm and asked the
- PC company to send me a good one . Now it is ok.
- Maybe you can try the similar thing.
- Hope it helps.
