- I tried to order a Speedstar 24x from those MicroLab clowns too. When it
- didn't arrive in a reasonable amount of time, I called to check the status.
- They said it had gone back order and offered me the SUPERIOR STEALTH for
- just $50 more. They also told me that the STEALTH was way faster than the
- 24X and some magazine. I also had a tape drive on order. I got them to
- send the tape drive, but cancelled the Speedstar 24x. They charged me the
- same shipping cost regardless.
-
- Now that sounds roughly like a "bait and switch" to me....
- Sure, they took my order, but I suspect that they knew they weren't going to
- sell me one in the first place!
