- I have a 386-SX clone with 8 Megs of RAM (1 M SIPPS), and am running
- OS/2 2.0. About two weeks ago I started getting Trap 2 errors and they have
- been increasing in frequency. The obvious guess would be that I have a
- memory chip failing, but I can't interpret the address I get from the Trap 2
- message. The Trap 2 message lists the register contents, then something to
- this effect:
-
- ##0160:fff6453f - 000d:a53f
- 60000,9084
-
- I get the same values above almost every time it crashes. Does anyone know
- how to interpret this to figure out which SIPP is going bad?
-
- A second question: I have once received a Trap 8 (with the same
- address). What is a Trap 8?
-
- Thanks!
