- I'm looking for informations about the new CYRIX cpu 486 compatible.
- I'm an Italian, and here in Italy is rather difficult to find info of this kind.My questions are :
- 1) The CYRIX "486" is really 100% compatible whit INTEL 486 ?
- 2) Is it true that it hasn't the coprocessor inside of it ?
- 3) Is it true taht it has 1kB internal Cache ?
- 4) Is it far better than a 386 40 mhz ?
- 5) What is there inside the cpu ?(block diagram available ?) Is it the same of a 486 sx ?

- I post this news because I've not find any "pc-shop" that sells the Cyrix 486.
- The few people I've met and who know about someting about it are not to much
- sure about it's compatiblity.
- Now I've the chance to buy a motherboard whit Cyrix "486" but I wanted to know
- if I'll have someting always stucked or what else.
-
- Thanks in advance for your Answers.
