- Since I will not be able to have two controllers (MFM and RLL) coexist
- in the same computer at the same time Ihave decided to use the RLL drive
- which is guaranteed for 65 MB and format the MFM to the same at 26 sectors
- per track (a ST251 is a MFM equivalent of a RLE ST277R). I will use
- the old MFM as a backup drive since so if it does fail (only tested to
- MFM standards) it won't hurt my data. Thanks to one of you on the net
- who suggested this to me, you know who you are (but I forgot).
-
- Problem: I used AMI BIOS (dated 1990) to format the RLL drive however
- it does not seem high level format using format and I get an error
- How do I get the dos off my boot floppy to recognize the RLL as drive
- C: ? Is there something I am missing?
