  13. I bought a LightCom 96 modem eight months ago and have had no problems 
  14. establishing 38400 baud connections.

  16. However, about a week ago, I noticed file transfers are now only 230 cps
  17. instead of the > 1000 cps I was getting before.  It is an internal modem
  18. with a Rockwell chip set.  I even tried it in another computer with the
  19. same results.

  21. Does anyone have any ideas about this problem?

  23. BTW, when I tried to contact the company, Lightning Communications, Inc.,
  24. of Aliso Viejo, CA, their phone has been disconnected.  :-(
