- I bought a LightCom 96 modem eight months ago and have had no problems
- establishing 38400 baud connections.
-
- However, about a week ago, I noticed file transfers are now only 230 cps
- instead of the > 1000 cps I was getting before. It is an internal modem
- with a Rockwell chip set. I even tried it in another computer with the
- same results.
-
- Does anyone have any ideas about this problem?
-
- BTW, when I tried to contact the company, Lightning Communications, Inc.,
- of Aliso Viejo, CA, their phone has been disconnected. :-(
-
- Thanks,
- Greg
