- Hi, I am looking for a CD-Rom drive for use with the
- Windows NT preliminary devellopment edition.
- I know it includes drivers for certain SCSI cards
- (e.g the Adaptec 1542), but which AT-BUS drives are supported ?
- I also heared that Microsoft recommends to use SCSI-drives
- for speed's sake but I can't immagine a good reason why
- - given the long access times and low transfer rates of
- CD-ROM drives - a drive connected via SCSI should be much
- faster than a AT-Bus drive.
-
- Stephan.
