  16.    I'm about to make a memory upgrade on my computer and I would like to
  17. have answers for some questions first.

  19.    There is my main problem. I have a 486-33 computer with 256k cache (if it
  20. matters) and I would like to know about the speed of the memory I should
  21. buy. I heard a few times that because the computer is very fast, you have
  22. to have a wait state on memory acces, because the memory is too slow. It
  23. makes sense to, and moreover, there's a wait state for memory in my CMOS
  24. configuration. Well, I would like to what would be the memory speed 
  25. required to get rid of that wait state. Is there fast enough memory available
  26. on the market ?

  28.    If for all memory available, I need to put a wait state, could I buy
  29. slower memory without having to put 2 wait states ? If so, how slow
  30. could the memory be ?

  32.    BTW, if it's of some importance in the matter, I currently have 4 1-mb
  33. modules and I plan to get 2 4-mb modules instead.

  35.    Another question. One of my friend will soon buy a computer and he
  36. would like to have 4 megs of RAM, we told him it would be better to put
  37. 4-megs modules for memory, but some people told us it's better to put
  38. memory modules in pairs, is it true ?
