- Well, I've heard of degaussers ... but it sounds like your son found
- himself a "gausser". Does your monitor have a degauss button? Mine
- doesn't, but I seem to remember that if I power it down for a while
- (5 minutes? 1 hour? ???) it will degauss itself when it is turned
- back on. I don't remember if I read this in my manual or if it was
- throw at me by a salesdroid just trying to make a sale. Anyway, you
- might try it - it couldn't hurt.
