- About a week ago I asked here if I could run a SCSI disk using the Adaptec
- 1542B in a machine already being equipped with 2 IDE drives. I got three
- email replies from Ken Germann, A.L. Squyres, and Roger Wolff, which are
- appended below. Thanks guys!

- The replies can be summerized by stating that the drivers supplied with
- Adaptec's driver kit for the 1542B allow one to do just what we want to
- do (that is, run a machine with 2 IDE disk and 1 SCSI disk).
