  17. About a week ago I asked here if I could run a SCSI disk using the Adaptec
  18. 1542B in a machine already being equipped with 2 IDE drives. I got three
  19. email replies from Ken Germann, A.L. Squyres, and Roger Wolff, which are
  20. appended below. Thanks guys!

  22. The replies can be summerized by stating that the drivers supplied with
  23. Adaptec's driver kit for the 1542B allow one to do just what we want to
  24. do (that is, run a machine with 2 IDE disk and 1 SCSI disk).
