- I have a nice 386DX/33 clone that I would like to upgrade.
-
- Raytraces are painfully slow on this machine as I have no math chip.
-
- Aside from adding a math chip and more memory (or buying a new computer),
- what can I do to bump up the performance ? I have heard rumors of a chip
- that replaces the 386 with a 486 compatible type part. Does such a thing
- exist ? How much of a performance boost does it give ? How much does
- it cost ? Do I still need to buy a math chip ?

- All info appreciated.
