- I have a GVC 9600 v32 v42 "Super"modem. I recently upgraded to a 486-25
- motherboard and since then have been getting alot of buzzing from the
- modem. It doesn't seem to hamper the abilities of the modem, but I can
- truthfully say, the buzzing is driving me crazy! I have tried turning
- off the speaker (ala ATM0), but it still comes back to haunt me. I have
- been told that it is resonance, and have since moved it as far from the
- computer as possible (btw, it is an external). Does anyone have any
- suggestions or the # to technical support of GVC? Thanks in advance!
-
- P.S. Does anyone know about a chip upgrade from GVC that will increase
- speed from 9600 to 14.4 w/ FAX???
