  15.  fwiw, I've never found any.  Most of those old "dogs" that had the 10M 
  16. drives HAD a bios date of 10/27/82.  (Earlier ones would not support HD's). 
  17. And since its got SixPak+ cards, hes probaly in good shape.

  19. If the motherboard says 16-64K, they ARE pretty much junk.  (I don't 
  20. think that will happen; see above.)  It'll probably be labeled 64-256K.

  26. Your were educational, weren't you?  New Mexico has a state law forbidding 
  27. donation of state-funded resources to private parties.  (This is a good-old-
  28. boy state, and they always pass laws aimed primarily at politcal rivals.  
  29. But sometimes they screw-up and have beneficial results.!)

  31. Did you ever notice on TV news, they frequently interview some clown, and 
  32. behind them is a real-live XT?  And quite often you see the original 5151 
  33. monitor.  We've still got 30 of those things around here.  They are only 
  34. agravating if one is used to a 486.  Many of ours are running WordPerfect.  
  35. Hey, I just help fix 'em; I'm not in charge of budgets or an officer of the 
  36. hardware fashion police!
