- I hear alot of Winmark talk for video performance, but I like to
- play PC games which are all DOS-based (e.g., Falcon 3.0). I also
- spend a lot of time in Windows so I would like great performance
- there, too.
-
- Eventually I would like to go to 1280x1024 256 color in Windows
- when the monitor prices get more reasonable.
-
- I expect some newer games will use advanced drivers to get better
- DOS performance out of special video hardware, but what will be
- the standard? So far I have only seen a VESA game, but I don't
- think that is a performance thing, just resolution.
-
- What card has great benchmarks in both DOS and Windows? What drivers will
- game makers use?
