- I saw my first LJ4 yesterday. (On display, not operating at the time).

- It appears to be a very nice printer as have all the previous HP LaserJets.
- It does do true 600X600dpi and has built-in support for TrueType (35
- built-in fonts?). A PostScript option is available, but if you are using
- Windows 3.1 and have no unusual needs, I doubt it is worth the extra cost.

- BTW, reading between the lines, I suspect some software will require a new
- printer driver to output anything to this printer. It does not appear to
- be 100% backwards compatible with the LJ3's 300X300dpi output. For most
- users this probably won't be a problem and drivers should quickly appear
- for just about any software.
