- The Displaymate Utilities is a package from Sonera Software that is
- designed to test monitors and video cards for their performance
- capabilities. I originally saw them at comdex a year or two ago and was
- one of the Byte editors that voted them one of our annual awards. Since
- then, I have used them in a comparitive monitor review. There's a sidebar
- in the May issue of Windows Magazine (CMP Publications) that describes the
- software and how I used it in that review. It's an effective test of a
- monitor, and it canshow you some surprising things about your equipment.
- One of these days I'll get the office organized enough to find it again
- and post the ordering information here. Meanwhile, look at Windows Magazine.
