- I recently bought a 386SX-25 from a swap market. The board looks like
- new. However, when I connected it to all the cables and put SIMMs and
- video and I/O card, nothing shows on the monitor. Not even CMOS or
- video BIOS. Oh, it uses AMI BIOS.
-
- I got similar a problem with my AMD 386DX-40. However, that was the
- AMD 386 chip was loose--you can easily remove it from the motherboard.
- However, the 386SX-25 is intel processor and it is soldered in the
- MB. I don't even know how to remove it.
-
- Is there any other possibilities other than the CPU fault? I played
- around those jumper settings and seems none works.
-
- Thanks for help.
