  10. I have an Adaptec ACB2372B RLL disk controller which doesn't seem to
  11. want to accept data.  I can get it to seek to tracks, restore and
  12. diagnose (no faults found).  But any command involving a data transfer
  13. (format, read or write) results in a 'Command Aborted' error.  In the
  14. format case the docs I have suggest that this status results from a
  15. Write Fault or Drive not ready.  Neither of these seem to occur.  So I
  16. have two questions:

  18. 1.  Is there anywhere else I can look to see if the controller is
  19. accepting the data transfer?  Looking at the sector buffer RAM I can see
  20. address lines changing but still I get the error.

  22. 2.  Does anyone have / can point me in the direction of an OEM manual
  23. for the controller?  In the UK is preferable but I'm desperate enough to
  24. consider anywhere (before you ask the local Adaptec distributor cannot
  25. help).
