  10. I have noticed a slight screen flash on my HP48 when it is first turned
  11. on (sometimes).  It seems to me that this only happens when the HP48
  12. turns itself off as it will do if left unused for ten minutes.  I suspect
  13. that there is a particular routine that gets executed after ten minutes
  14. of nonuse.  When the HP48 is turned back on, the remainder of this
  15. routine is executed which I suspect returns the HP48 to the state it was
  16. in when it timed out.  This is just speculation, of course.  I've not
  17. tried to find out exactly what is executed at time out.  But the
  18. symptoms seem to fit something like the above explaination.  At least on
  19. my Rev D HP48, I don't seem to get the flash if I intentionally turn off
  20. the calculator.  Is this true for others?
