- I think the term "linear" as used in the manual describing integrands
- refers to functions of other functions. in other words, the function

- (x^2-6)^3 has (x^2-6) raised to the 3rd power and (x^2-6) is not a
- linear function. (x-6)^3 should be fine as would an expanded version of
- the first function.
