  24. If it's just under the threshold they've been notified several times.
  25. The spool directory is for incoming mail, not storing mail.  Users
  26. are notified by mail early on and at login time when the threshold
  27. comes near.

  32. Well, you probably didn't have quite a few users who *never* read
  33. their mail, as well as a couple, that did read their mail, but didn't
  34. save it to a folder.  When you can't receive mail regularly because
  35. your spool directory is 100% full 90% of the time, it's time to take
  36. action.  Nowadays I always can always receive mail for anyone and I
  37. have been able to loosen the restrictions as well.

  39. When users don't listen when they need to, I *have* to make them
  40. listen.  No user is exclusive "owner" of the resources I administer.
  41. And I have to think of them all.
