  14. This is all on an 8.07 CRX24-Z - I believe it will work on a TVRX-T4 as well:

  17. edit text to:
  18. Vuewm*HighResHighColor*Four*backdrop*image:     none
  19.                      ^^^
  20.            'room' number or name 
  21. xrdb -merge text
  22. restart vuewm by clicking right mouse button with cursor on backdrop
  23.     and selecting 'restart vuewm'
  24. xsetroot -bitmap bitmap.file Or what ever you want  - one of our students
  25.     hacked xsetroot to set transparent - is there another way to do that?
  26.     It doesn't work in all circumstances.
