- How can I obtain the source or binaries for the HP-UX version
- of gcc (gcc-2.3.1u2) if I have no access to the ftp site? Our company
- has access to the Internat through uunet (i.e. uucp). I've heard
- of a "gopher" program, should I use that?
-
- I have the source for both gcc2.3.1 and libg++2.2. I've built both
- on our hp9k835 (HPUX 8.00 - PA 1.0). Gcc built with no problems
- (NO -O option) and I can compile several test .c programs. When I try
- to build libg++2.2 though (w/ patches from Bart Muijzer's shar) all
- of the executables core dump. Without the patch, I can't even build
- the library. Anyone else have problems like this?
-
- Will future revisions/updates of gcc include support for the
- PA-RISC-1.0 architecture? We have an HP-710 here (PA-RISC-1.1),
- should I be building gcc on it (alas, low disk space...)?
-
- Any illumination would be greatly appreciated,
-
- Chuck (cdm@idm.com)
