  11. When logging in on a HP 827, HPUX 8.0, on a terminal line the opening 
  12. screen contains nearly twenty lines of copyrights.  Then, there follows 
  13. a welcome message, followed by the news of the day.

  15. Approximately one time in every 15, the screen will freeze on the opening
  16. screen - always at the same position on the screen.  Is it necessary to display
  17. all those copyrights?  I suspect that I could solve the problem by deleting 
  18. several of the lines of copyright, because the screen hangs at precisely the
  19. same position on the screen every time.  Once hung, it is often necessary to 
  20. break the connection and attempt to login again.

  22. I have no idea why it hangs -( sorry if this is a FAQ).
