  14. I have a HP 9000/425t (HPUX 8.0) (diskless) connected on the local net 
  15. to a file server. I attempted to connect a CDROM to my node. 
  16. Unfortunately my machine barfs stating that it can only connect the CDROM
  17. to a root server and not my diskless node.

  19. Can someone help me and tell me what I am doing wrong. Is there any 
  20. software that I can use to enable me to connect the CDROM to my
  21. machine rather than the root server. (The root server is remotely located
  22. in the Computer Room). I need to access the CDROM player quite frequently.
