- Clips from a closed defect report SR 5003-067611
-
- -----
-
- Description:
- hpterm dies due to stack growth when changing focus.
-
- Problem:
- If the user has selects just the end-of-line character (and only the
- end-of-line character), and then hpterm redisplays it self, it will
- eventually overflow the stack and die.
-
- Fix:
- The fix for this defect has been incorporated into the patch tree
- and the product tree; HP-UX 9.0 and the next periodic patch will
- contain versions of hpterm with the fix.
-
- -----
-
- Try patches PHSS_1659 for HP-UX 8.* s300 and PHSS_1660 for HP-UX 8.* s700.
- HP-UX 9.0 should have the problem fixed without the need for patches.
