- If you turn off VUE's backdrop, you can display anything on the backdrop
- you can get xv or similar programs to show. I don't believe xv currently
- supports pixmaps, though (if that's what you meant). I use xv to display
- gif and jpg files on my backdrop. To turn off the backdrop, set the resource

- This works for HP-VUE 2.01; at 3.0 there's a pick in the Style Manager
- to do the same thing.
