  17. We are looking for solution to the nfs mount problem on our HP9000/{720,730}
  18. machines.  Your solution or suggestion will be highly appreciated.

  20. When we try to use a SUN3.60 (running SunOS) to nfs mount the disks of our HP
  21. workstations (running BSD 4.3), we fail with some message like: (say hhost:
  22. HP machine, fsname: file system on HP and /dir for target directory on
  23. SUN3).

  25. mount: hhost:fsname server not responding: RPC: Authentication error; why = Failed (unspecified error)
  26. mount: giving up on:
  27.    /dir

  29. On the other hand, we have no problem nfs-mounting the disks of SUN by
  30. using HP machines.

  32. As a matter of fact, the same things happen between our DECstation 5000/200
  33. and these HP machines while we have no problem at all with NFS between 
  34. DECstation and SUN3/60.
