  12. I am having trouble getting my HP Deskwriter to be recognized on my small 3 Mac
  13. appletalk LAN.  This is likely due to the fact that I am using some homebuilt
  14. phonenet connectors that doesn't have one of the non-used pins at the right
  15. voltage for the Deskwriter to recognize it is on a network and not connected
  16. serially.

  18. Can anyone tell me how the Deskwriter detects an appletalk network (maybe I can
  19. set a jumper or a DIP switch to force it to the right mode)?
