- I'm not sure (note disclaimer at end), but I was always lead to believe
- that HP9000/8xx do this (because they have a battery back-up. The
- original poster (Mark Bixby <markb@spock.dis.cccd.edu>) said this was on
- an 817, so I'm mystified. Maybe I'm wrong, and certain 800s don't?

- HP9000/[3,4,7]xx don't do this because they're `workstations', as
- opposed to `servers'.
