  13. Can anybody help with information about a National
  14. Semiconductor memory board for a PDP-11?
  15. It's a hex-height MUD-slot 1/4-megabyte module, 
  16. with one parity bit per byte. It's currently populated to 
  17. 64k. It appears to support 22-bit addressing. 
  18. The DRAMs are 4116s.

  20. There are about 20 jumpers and 3 8-way dip-switches.
  21. There are also 2 LEDs at the front (handle) edge of
  22. the board: one red, one yellow.

  24. I've managed to suss out a certain amount about it
  25. by track-tracing, but the board is multi-layer, and it's
  26. murder on the eyes. The following numbers appear on the
  27. board (some of these are hand-written in what looks like
  28. tippex fluid, so I may not have read them exactly right):

  38. Date-codes on the chips suggest that it was made around
  39. 1982.

  41. Essentially, I'm looking for any information about setting
  42. the jumpers/dip-switches, though a full circuit diagram
  43. would be ideal.

  45. I've tried getting in touch with Nat Semi: apparently,
  46. the division of the company that made these boards was sold
  47. off to Hitachi, who claim never to have heard of it.
