  16. We just received our VS4000 TCA boards, great!

  18. Plug one into a 4000-M90 and stick an fddi board on, looks okay so far.

  20. Finally find the network address of the board by running the MIPS console
  21. emulator and doing "t tc0 cnfg", looks good.

  23. How do you get it to boot over the fddi adapter?

  25. Tried many things, VAX console ROM is clueless about FCA0 ...
  26. the most promising turned out to be "t tc0 boot mop" in the MIPS emulator
  27. but still no go (yes I did change the hardware address on the load host).

  29. Anyone have any clues?

  31. I finally just booted from the ethernet adapter, turned off DECnet on ethernet
  32. and turned it on for fddi (don't want to be a router).  This is VMS V5.5-2HW
  33. by the way.
