- I am attempting to add a large disk (500 MB) to my old PDP 11/73 under
- RT-11 v5.4B. I have the disk up and running, but I only have access to
- about 262 MB. Each disk partition is 65535 blocks and I have DU0 through
- DU7 mapped to partitions zero through seven.
- The problem is - how do I get the DU handler to recognize units greater
- than 7? The RT manual says the DU handler supports up to 256 partitions,
- but if I try to use greater than 7, I get a KMON-F-Invalid Command error.
- I have tried altering the DU handler by setting the value DU$UNITS to 16 -
- the handler compiles, but I still do not get access to anything over 7.
-
- Any ideas...? Please e-mail responses.
