- I am trying to setup quotas on a Decstation 5000/200 running Ultrix 4.2A.
-
- To this end, I try on a new, mounted, but unused filesystem
-
- quotacheck -f -v /filespace
- *** Check quotas for /dev/rrz2d
- root fixed: inodes (old 0, new 3) blocks (old 0, new 20)
- root fixed: inodes (old 3, new 0) blocks (old 20, new 0)
-
- After a short sound of disk action, the system produces the above 3 lines
- of output, and then sits indefinitely with quotacheck taking up as much
- system CPU time as it can get, and no outwardly visible signs of
- anything else happening.
-
- The kernal configuration file has the option QUOTA in it.
-
- Any help regarding what is happening would be appreciated. Thank you.
