  15. To cancel dialing (such as in the case that the line is busy), my version
  16. of Uniterm simply requires a Control-C to put you back into normal mode.

  18. You are now in contact with your modem.  My modem stops trying to connect
  19. and hangs up if you type any key before carriers connect.

  21. So it ends up being Control-C then any other key.  Hope this works in your
  22. version.
