- Everyone knows that the Falcons are late...
- I agree that Atari should have tried to get the christmas market, *BUT*,
-
- Do you remember that Atari said the Falcons would be redesigned early next year
- (with a TT style, ie a seperate box+keyboard)?
-
- Maybe Atari are giving the few(?) ST style Falcons they have to developers so
- that there will be lots of software, and also to a few dealers to show people
- what the machine can do.
-
- They have said that full scale production will start early next year, so
- hopefully this will be with the new design, the idea being that everyone will
- have the same type of machine making upgrades etc easier because they can all
- be the same.
- *IF* this is the case, I think it will be worth the wait, but it's a pity they
- will miss the christmas sales. (maybe next christmas!)
-
- BTW I have tried to get a SM146 mono monitor from Evesham Micros (the only
- semi-Atari dealer here in Cambridge (UK) but they said that Atari hasn't
- shipped any yet.
- Is this true or is it that only this shop hasn't got any?
- (what's the difference between SM124,125,144,146 etc?)
-
- Only my opinions,
- Phil (Desperate to get a Falcon :-) )

- suggestion sir, with only two drawbacks: one,we don't have any defensive shields
- and two,we don't have any defensive shields.I know that,technically,that's only
- one drawback, but it was such a big one I thought I'd mention it twice".
