  17. I have come across an odd problem while trying to write a program.

  19. What I need to do is use one of the "attribute" bits that are present in files
  20. so that I can determine if my program has made use of a given file before.
  21. This would function much like the "archive" bit, but would save quite a bit
  22. of disk access time.

  24. The problem is this;  even though I payed Atari for the developer information,
  25. they have not seen fit to update their GemDos manual since it was first
  26. printed.  Thus, I do not know which of the attribute bits are presently in
  27. use and which are not.

  29. Could someone who does please send me E-Mail, and I will summarize the
  30. results here.
