  23. WHOA!  Hold on there, Bob!  I think you are being entirely unfair here.  I was
  24. NOT making fun of Roger's dilemna in finding support for his Atari in New
  25. Zealand.  Far from it... I well realize the difficulty and frustration in
  26. getting support from Atari or Atari dealers, rare commodities that they are.
  27. Having lived in Australia a few years, I can also sympathize with the specific
  28. problems of support that users face in Oz and NZ.  It ain't easy in the US but
  29. it's even _worse_ there.

  31. My complaint (OK, my bitch) to Roger was that he said "anyone considering an
  32. Atari computer needs to have their head examined."  THAT is what I complained
  33. about... I don't like being insulted because I use an Atari computer.  Do you?

  35. Roger also owns a PC and has frequently touted it's virtues over the Atari in
  36. this newsgroup.  Roger and I nitpick each other on occasion just to maintain a
  37. balanced perspective, but I still consider us "friends" on this net.  WE don't
  38. have a problem with that, why do YOU?

  42. Yes Bob, you are right.  I have posted in the PC newsgroups.  Is that a crime?
  43. Besides 3 Atari computers, I also own a PC and a Macintosh.  Heck, I'd own an 
  44. Amiga and a Silicon Graphics too if I could afford them.  I enjoy each machine
  45. for different reasons although I admit, due to familiarity, I am more partial
  46. to the Atari machines.  How does that make me one of the "bad guys???"

  57. free country.  But please do NOT insinuate (through ignorance or otherwise) that
  58. I have abandoned the Atari camp and my Atari customers solely because I use and
  59. enjoy other machines too.  I may be a computer geek, but I'm not traitorous!
