- Don't forget that a Floptical is NOT superior to a hard drive. They give
- one 1/4 of the transfer speed, and the seek-time is MUCH worse. The biggest
- advantage is the cheap and removable media. It is DEFINATELY the successor
- to the floppy drive (as NeXT has concluded). NeXT machines generally
- transfer files to the hard disk for any work.
