  24. Don't forget that a Floptical is NOT superior to a hard drive.  They give
  25. one 1/4 of the transfer speed, and the seek-time is MUCH worse.  The biggest
  26. advantage is the cheap and removable media.  It is DEFINATELY the successor
  27. to the floppy drive (as NeXT has concluded).  NeXT machines generally
  28. transfer files to the hard disk for any work.
