- You need to set your modem to send verbose status codes, i.e. CONNECT 2400
- instead of numeric responses. I think the command is either ATV1 or ATX1
- (never can find that command list when you need it!)
- Also, I have a modem that sometimes sends a false BUSY response, but when that
- happens, you dial gain and it works fine.
